Walk into another world. Set in the heart of our 100 acre working farm in stunning North Devon countryside, located within easy reach of the best beaches in Britain and Exmoor National Park... proper Glamping!
Both well travelled, Gavin and Jemma finally made Fisherton Farm their home in 2006 and they are continuously making improvements to their 100 acre 16th Century farm. Gavin has farmed passionately all his life, his wonderful herd of pedigree Simmental cattle (est. 1978 Foreland Herd) and now the recent addition of rare Zwartbles sheep (Atherington Flock) have won many agricultural awards.
Jemma is an accomplished artist (www.drawntotheworld.com) and has exhibited all over the world and now is a keen vegetable grower and cook.
Their two small children prompted Gavin and Jemma to buy their first wagon. Discovering the beautiful wood (the cows formerly used for natural shelter) then inspired them to purchase and restore two more wagons to create this low impact, eco-friendly, off grid experience. A getaway to enjoy the wild life and get back to basics..
Fisherton farm has diversified and grown to become a perfect balance of self sufficient and sustainable farming producing exceptional meat and high class breeding animals fed from rich Devon pastures while retaining all aspects of the farms natural beauty and a welcoming attitude to share it with others.
